Delivery of Bespoke Dining Tables & Desks Across the UK
Delivery Costs
Delivery within mainland England is completely free — it’s included in the price of your dining table or desk.
For areas outside mainland England, there are small additional charges to cover courier costs:
-
Mainland England: Free
-
Wales: Up to £75
-
Central Scotland: Up to £125 depending on the piece
-
Northern Ireland: Up to £150 depending on the piece
-
Collection in person: Free (by arrangement)
I’ll always confirm the exact delivery cost before you place your order, so everything is clear from the start.
Every dining table, desk and boardroom table is handmade to order here in Cornwall and delivered safely to your home or workspace. My delivery process is straightforward, personal and designed to work around you — no fuss, no hidden surprises.
Lead Times
Most bespoke dining tables and desks are despatched within 6 - 8 weeks, depending on design and finish.
When your order reaches the final stages, I’ll be in touch to arrange delivery — usually 2–3 weeks in advance. You’ll be offered a delivery date and a three-hour time slot.
Deliveries can take place any day of the week between 8am and 10pm. If the day or time offered isn’t suitable, I can move you to the next delivery run in your area, which may take a while.
If a delivery is cancelled within 72 hours of your time slot, a re-delivery charge may apply.
How Your Table Is Delivered
Your table is wrapped securely and delivered by a trusted courier who understands how to handle handmade, made-to-order pieces.
We always aim to arrive within your allocated time slot, but traffic delays can occasionally happen — if so, you’ll be contacted as soon as possible.
Delivery Terms & Conditions
Our delivery teams work to tight schedules. Delays caused by restricted access may result in a second delivery being required, which would need to be paid for in advance.
If you are not at the property when the delivery team arrives and they cannot contact you via the details provided, they will wait up to 20 minutes before leaving. Any repeat deliveries will incur a charge.
Access Requirements
Delivery is to ground floor level as standard. If stairs are involved, this must be arranged in advance and may carry an additional charge.
Our delivery team reserves the right to refuse delivery if the environment is not considered safe.
Because our tables are not flat-pack furniture, we cannot lift pieces over fences, remove doors, or navigate tight or unsafe routes.
Please ensure:
-
pathways are clear
-
any trip hazards are removed
-
there is adequate space for the table to reach its room
-
floors are protected if needed
Parking Requirements
There must be suitable parking close to your property to allow safe unloading.
If your area has restrictions, please let me know at the point of order — you’ll be responsible for arranging any required permits.
Accepting Delivery
Please examine your item carefully upon arrival. If a signature is required, check the item fully before signing.
Any delivery dates or time slots are estimates. While we make every effort to meet them, we cannot accept liability for delays or offer compensation for missed or rearranged deliveries.
Third-Party Couriers
For outlying areas, we occasionally use trusted third-party couriers. Your details will be passed to them so they can arrange delivery directly with you.
While we always try to deliver in a single consignment, we reserve the right to separate orders where necessary.
